Add Network Printer

How to use a network printer if your computer is not on domain and you want to use the domain printer than make sure you have the ip address of printer now open CONTROL PANEL > PRINTERS AND FAXES > ADD PRINTER

Now click next and click the radio button of "Local printer attached to this computer" and make sure that the option "Automatically detect and install....." is untick, now click NEXT

Here click the radio button at the bottom " CREATE A NEW PORT " and in the drop down list select the " STANDARD TCP/IP PORT "

A new window will appear click NEXT and in this window type in the ip address of printer and the port will automatically configure now in next window choose your PRINTER BRAND AND MODEL and click next and finish the wizard.....
